Rwamatamu – Rwanda

Rwamatamu is a family-owned coffee producer in Rwanda’s Southern Province, founded by husband-and-wife team Gaston Rutaganda and Laeticia Mukantwaza. Alongside producing exceptional coffees, they invest heavily in their local community through initiatives that support women and young coffee farmers, helping to create long-term opportunities beyond the harvest season.

This naturally processed Red Bourbon is carefully hand-sorted before being dried on raised African beds for up to 33 days. Throughout drying, the cherries are regularly turned to ensure even drying while allowing the fruit sugars to develop, producing a clean, sweet and expressive cup.
