Lacia Specialty Coffee is a family-owned business with over 50 years of experience in the coffee industry. It began in the mountains of Quindío, Colombia. The company was founded by Jairo Iván López and his three brothers. Inspired by their father’s passion for coffee, they decided to build something of their own.

Over time, their hard work helped the company grow. They adapted to a changing global market, but never lost focus on quality or innovation. Today, the second generation carries that same passion forward. Alejandro López is the Commercial Manager, and Santiago López leads the Quality Department.

Lacia’s mission is simple: to grow and produce outstanding coffee with care and respect for the environment. All their coffee comes from their own farms. As a result, they can guarantee full traceability and consistent quality.

The team constantly works to improve. They use different processing methods—such as washed, honey, natural, and natural maceration—to bring out unique and complex flavors in each batch. These techniques are carefully applied to highlight the best in every bean.
